Making a food donation is easy!
Drop off non-perishable food donations directly to the Maple Valley Food Bank or any of our convenient community drop-off barrels located at the Covington Library, Maple Valley Library or Greater Maple Valley Community Center.
We can also accept certain types of perishable or frozen items, please call us at (425) 432-8633 for more information before making your donation.
Donations of fresh produce are always welcome.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept donations of used clothing or household items. In the interest of food safety, we cannot distribute out of date, opened containers, or home cooked/canned food to our clients.
List of Donatables:
Canned food:
Meats (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.), vegetables, fruit, hearty soups, chili, ravioli, stew, etc. Tomato products (whole, stewed, diced, sauces).
Packaged food:
Peanut butter, cereal, oatmeal, pasta, meal in a box (Hamburger or Tuna Helper), macaroni & cheese, pancake mix, rice, flour, macaroni and cheese, etc.
*All food items should be within one year of the expiration date.
Hygiene items:
Shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, feminine products, deodorant, etc.
Baby cupboard items:
Diapers, diaper wipes, formula, baby food, etc.
